WhoHasWhatExchange rates
Rates download on first launch and remain available offline. In Settings choose Daily, Weekly (the default), Yearly or Never. Automatic updates are checked when you open or return to the app; Update now refreshes manually. Never keeps the saved rates until a manual update. Home shows the rate date and marks converted totals as approximate. If rates are missing, loans stay accessible and the affected total is unavailable.
Free and Unlimited
Track four simultaneous active loans for free. Fully repaid loans and returned items free a slot. Archived outstanding loans still count. Existing loans, history, reminders and partial repayments stay available. WhoHasWhat Unlimited is an optional one-time purchase, with no subscription. Open Settings to see the App Store price or Restore Purchases. Purchase restoration does not restore loan data or provide cloud sync.
Record your first loan
Tap Record, choose one of the four loan types, and enter a name and an amount or item. You can choose an existing person or create one in the same form. Dates, notes, photos, and reminders are optional.
See what is outstanding
Home shows all active loans, including those without a due date. Tap a summary card to filter the list. Money balances are estimated in your default currency using saved ECB reference rates. Individual loans and repayments keep their original currencies. WhoHasWhat does not transfer money.
Record a repayment or return
Open a loan. For money, enter a partial repayment or keep the remaining amount to repay it in full. For an item, tap Mark returned. Completed loans remain in Activity and the person’s history.
Correct a mistake
Edit the loan’s details, undo the latest eligible repayment, or undo an item return. Earlier repayments remain intact. A later change to the original amount can make a previous payment ineligible for undo. In a person’s page, Undo offset reverses both sides of a confirmed offset together and preserves later repayments. Restore any archived linked loans first.
Find archived records
Archiving removes a loan from active totals and keeps its history. Find it again through Activity. Archived people are under People → Archived; restore the person before reactivating their loans.
Check a missing reminder
Allow notifications in your iPhone settings, turn on reminders in WhoHasWhat, and enable the reminder on the individual loan. Alerts are scheduled for 9 am on the due date. Focus settings and other iPhone controls can affect delivery.
Keep your records safe
WhoHasWhat works offline without an account. Version 1 has no built-in export or cross-device sync. Your Apple device backups may include app data, depending on your settings. Deleting the app can remove its local records; recovery cannot be guaranteed.
