WhoHasWhatExchange-rate requests
For balance estimates, the app downloads public ECB reference rates from api.frankfurter.dev (Frankfurter). The provider receives an ordinary network request, including your IP address; no names, loan amounts, photos or record identifiers from your ledger are sent. Rates and update preferences are stored on your device. Never stops automatic refreshes after the initial download; manual updates remain available.
App Store purchases
Apple processes the optional one-time Unlimited purchase. StoreKit verifies purchase access on your device. The app does not send your loan records to a purchase server. Restore Purchases restores purchase access only, not your loan data.

Information stored in the app
The app stores the names you enter, lending and borrowing records, amounts and currencies, repayment history, optional notes and dates, selected item photos, and your preferences. These are held in private app storage on your device. No account or contacts access is required.
Photos and notifications
The photo picker lets you choose an image to attach to an item. A reduced copy is kept in app storage. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device for the loans you choose, with your permission. Turn reminders off in the app or revoke notification access in iPhone Settings.
What leaves your device
WhoHasWhat does not upload your ledger to a WhoHasWhat server. Using Share opens the system share sheet with the selected loan’s details, including any note. Review them before sending. The receiving app or service applies its own privacy practices.
Retention, backup, and deletion
Records remain on your device until you remove the app or its data. Archiving preserves records and history. This version has no built-in export or sync. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings. Removing the app can erase local records, and recovery cannot be guaranteed.
Tracking and this website
The app includes no ads, advertising trackers, or usage analytics. This support website has no analytics or contact form added by WhoHasWhat. Its hosting provider processes technical requests needed to deliver the pages; visiting this website does not give it access to your app ledger.
Changes to this policy
If the way WhoHasWhat handles information changes, this page will be updated with a new date. Any new permission will be requested in context.
